Title: Inferior Metal
Fandom: Doctor Who/Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles crossover
Summary: Oneshot. A glitch with a time bubble causes Cameron to come face to face with a Cyberman.
Rating: T
Notes: This is a sort-of prequel to the TTSCC series, set at the point when Cameron is first sent back from the future, and ties in with the events involving the Cybermen in the parallel universe of Doctor Who. It's just a little idea I had that I wanted to try out – if the mechanics of a time bubble accidentally got caught up with a parallel universe, what would happen when Cameron encounters their version of a "cyborg"? A couple of initial glitches with it have now been smoothed out.

Title: Plot Bunnies
Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Charmed crossover
Rating: K
Summary: A drabble resulting from a literal plot bunny I had for a meeting between Anya and Barbas.
Notes: I find Anya's fear of bunnies adorably hilarious, and what with Barbas being the Demon of Fear I thought there might be a fic here.
Disclaimer: I don't own BtVS or Charmed.

Title: Facing Down Oblivion
Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Harry Potter crossover
Rating: K+
Summary: Oneshot. Spike faces the Dementors.
Notes: Feel free to speculate as to what the story behind this is, but I don't have a clear enough picture of it myself to write it yet. Very roughly, Harry, Hermione and Ron have recruited the Slayer to help fight Voldemort and it's ended in a battle. If I ever get more ideas for it then I might write it in future, but for now I just wanted to do this brief oneshot about Spike (with a bit of implicit Spuffy). AU for BtVS season seven and Deathly Hallows, so timelines have been shuffled round a bit.
Disclaimer: I don't own BtVS or Harry Potter

Written as the prologue to a Lost fanfiction, but can be read as a more general commentary on a plane crash.

Title: Delayed Knockout
Fandom: Castle
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Things could have turned out so differently when a split second changes everything.
Notes: A rather unusual style of writing for me, so I'm treating this as somewhat experimental. Alternative take on the Castle season three finale.

I was going to post this to Yahoo Answers, but it's too long (knowing how much I waffle on, that should not be a surprise). So, I'm going to post it here and might link to it elsewhere.

Title: Schrödinger’s Cradle
Genre: Sci-Fi
Rating: G
Summary: "We're Cats in Schrödinger's Cradle, and we rewrite history."
Notes: Brief introductory piece for an idea I'm working on. I'm going to develop it more so that the link between time travel and Schrödinger's Cat becomes apparent (as well as having a story, obviously) but for now it's just this short intro-drabble-teaser-thing.

I had to visit the clinic earlier due to a strange lump having appeared on my wrist. The nurse says I've got inflamed nerves due to RSI, and I need to cut back a lot on how much I use the computer for at least the next two weeks or until the swelling goes down. Which means I'm not supposed to be writing any fanfiction. Therefore, I'm I probably won't be able to update anything for a while.

Honestly, I'm gutted. I had a target of archiving 300 000 words in my first year of fanfiction and I've got four weeks left and I'm only 15 000 words away. Plus I'm really into these two stories in particular that I'm working on at the moment and I've put in so much work researching them. But the nurse is right - I've literally barely stopped typing these past couple of weeks and it shouldn't really be surprising that my wrist has swollen up. So I guess that means I'm going to be taking a break from writing for a while. And all this medical drama has come about at a time when I was trying to write a medical drama story of my own. Oh the irony.

On the plus side though, at least I feel like a real writer now. I've written so much that I actually have some kind of physical injury to show for it.

Title: One True Friend
Fandom: Harry Potter
Rating: G
Summary: Brief oneshot where Filch reflects on how Mrs Norris came into his life. I wanted to write this because although I do think Filch can be a despicable character, I also think he's rather misunderstood and if you look at his reasons for being the way he is he's actually quite sympathetic. There is something rather sad about a man whose only real friend is his cat. This is my little character study on Filch and his relationship with Mrs Norris. It may or may not be compatible with any more information we get about Filch from Pottermore, but I don't have a beta account so this is my own version of why Filch is like he is.

Title: A Browncoat And A Greenjacket
Fandom: Firefly and Sharpe crossover
Rating: NC-17 for language and violence in future chapters
Summary: Two captains, separated by seven centuries and many lightyears of space, are thrown together by a glitch in time. Can Malcolm Reynolds find his way back to Serenity, and manage to convince Richard Sharpe that he is neither crazy nor a French spy?

I'm trying to make this as accessible as possible to people who are familiar with Firefly but not with Sharpe, so please give it a go anyway!

Title: Into The Second Aether
Fandom: Firefly (mixed somewhat with Michael Moorcock's multiverse)
Rating: PG-13

Summary: Set after the events of the Serenity movie. Badger has a job for Mal: to steal the Golden Orrery that is due to be presented to the King of Londonium at the U-Day celebrations. Mal is more than happy to do anything that might disrupt those wanting to celebrate unification, but his seemingly straightforward plan is disrupted when Kaylee finds some rather unusual passengers to bring on board for extra income. Serenity becomes the temporary home to three Core Worlders  who have found themselves stranded on the Rim: a terraforming tycoon, his wife and an eccentric hat maker. Their presence on board raises some questions as to why Badger would want to get his hands on the Orrery, and could there really be terrible consequences for the 'Verse if a certain missing hat is not recovered? And what of the mysterious  phantom ship that Rim Worlders have reported seeing sailing between the outer planets?

Other notes: This arose from me having a conversation with a friend about shiny hats, and from me having read the Doctor Who book The Coming Of The Terraphiles. It promises to be as bizarre as that book in future chapters, but I'm trying to adapt the story to fit the Firefly universe.

Title: The Inimical Prey
Fandom: Doctor Who/Alien vs Predator crossover
Rating: T
Word Count: 51 116
Summary: The Doctor goes to investigate a distress signal from a stranded space crew, but gets more than he bargained for when he discovers the planet they've crashed on is infested with xenomorphs and a hunter species that views humans as fair game.

I'm going through a bit of an Imaginos-obsessive phase at the moment, so I've produced this surreal little drabble inspired by the Blue Oyster Cult song 'The Girl That Love Made Blind' and Sandy Pearlman's Imaginos poetry.

Fandom: Doctor Who

Summary: TARDIS internal monologue drabble, because the idea of personifying the TARDIS in 'The Doctor's Wife' was just too awesome to not write a fic about. The TARDIS reflects on her and the Doctor's relationship and the kind of bond that exists between them.
